Notes of Thanks

Thank you to all the families who came out for our Last Blast and especially to the committee who organized this event
Erin S, Jenny K, Alison M and Claire K. What a great and fun way to finish off the year.

Thank you School Council for the Staff

Appreciation lunch! The food from Jimmy A and A was outstanding and the deserts from families was delicious. A special thanks to Jen S for all of her efforts organizing this event! And to Katrina B and Sarah S for the set up and clean up. Thank you for all the parents who attended our final School Council meeting this week. We had some excellent discussions and we really appreciate your input, time and voice!

Bonne semaine

This Week

These are the days with cooler mornings and warmer afternoons, which means jackets sometimes come off when playing outside and don’t make it back inside. Please ask your child(ren) to check the lost and found for any missing items. We will be packing up and
donating any leftover items on June 27. Make sure you have a good look for those missing water bottles, hats, gloves, hoodies and jackets!

We would also like to remind families to check your MyCBE account for any outstanding fees to be paid and kindly ask that they are taken care of prior to the end of the school year.
For students staying at William Reid or moving to Elboya for grade five next year, you do not need to do anything about registration. If your family has plans to change schools and you have not yet shared that with us, please call the office.

Grade 4 Updates

Farewell / Moving Camp

We will be hosting a farewell / moving camp assembly outdoors on Tuesday, June 25 at 9:00AM to celebrate their time at William Reid and wish them well as they transition to grade five. Students will enjoy a slide show, an assembly and fun activities organized
by their teachers. Families of Grade five students and all students are invited to the assembly. We will also be presenting the DELF certificates to all grade four students who took this international exam at this assembly.

Reminder: Pick up Medication June 27, 2024

A subscription keeps your calendar automatically updated for parents, eliminating the need for manual entries or updates.
Real-time Updates
Any changes or additions to events are instantly reflected in your calendar,
ensuring your parents have the latest information.
Timesaving
Subscriptions save you and your parents time by streamlining the process of adding and managing events, reducing the manual effort involved.
Consistency
It helps maintain consistency across multiple devices, ensuring that your school calendar data is synchronized and accessible from various platforms.
Automatic Reminders
Many calendar subscriptions come with built-in reminder features, helping your parents stay organized and on top of your school schedule effortlessly. On the Calendarpage, scroll down to the bottom left to find the link to subscribe to the school calendar on Mac, Android and desktop devices.

2023-2024 Report Cards

Families will be able to view online student report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 from June 26 –July 26, 2024. Report cards for the 2023-24 school year may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
